PORTRAITS

Portraits are such a fun art form!

Wether it’s real people or fictional characters I am drawing, I love the challenge of representing an emotion, fun characteristics or stereotypes, that are something recognizable and relatable, specially if the project is targeted to children.

CHILDREN’S ILLUSTRATIONS

When I imagine a scene or a drawing that will be used in a children’s book or project, I love using a bit of magic, animals, fairytale-like scenes. I think that it’s important to create something that leaves space to imagination and creativity, that helps dreaming beautiful and sweet things.

SCENES

I love working with lights.

I think light and composition truly bring an image to life. It’s important to figure out what the focus is, if it’s the subject or the scene as a whole. It’s part of the storytelling, and I love experimenting translating into light the emotions I’m trying to convey.

NATURE

I am extremely passionate about conservation and the environment.

One of my biggest dreams is to be able to use my illustrations to support conservation efforts one day, either working with a company on some project or building my own project. My nature project right now is a series of illustrations that I imagine being pieces of art that can be hung on a wall as a constant reminder of the beauty of our world and the importance of every living being.
